Hey, I'm Liam Sullivan, I'm 22 and recently graduated from the University of Leeds where I studyed Computer Science.

Outside of academia I enjoy canoeing, cooking, DJing / composing electronic music, pubs, clubs, and travelling.

1st September 2010

After a 12 month placement designing and building scientific software for pharmaceutical research within Discovery R&D at AstraZeneca, I'm now back in Leeds to complete my degree, and tackle my Final Year Project, Making Web Search Spatial.

I like playing around with sounds using tools like Ableton and mixing tracks with Virtual DJ - in fact I took an A Level in Music Tech not too long ago!

The player above has some of my mixes, they're a bit rough in parts - I'm hoping to post something without any mistakes soon, have a listen I'd love to hear what you think.

Interests

My interest within Computer Science lie primarily within Artificial Intelligence, Visualisation and Human Computer Interaction. Some of the areas I'm currently exploring are Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Distributed Systems, Bio-Inspired Computation, and Knowledge Representation.
